Global Warming

I learn that  Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuation. Since the early 20th century, Earth's mean surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F), with about two-thirds of the increase occurring since 1980.
I want to know about  I want to  know all the possible solution and actions we can do to prevent and stop global warming.
I would like to research  solutions and alternative and easy way to prevent global warming. 
I appreciate the fact that there are many people who and aware about this and taking there good action but still there are people who destroying our environment that they caused to much to this phenomenon.
I can apply my learning and insight to my life by simply doing my part of being a student to lessen  the cause of it and by joining to different organization and giving knowledge about this to others.
